That gun is great

 

Thats the only one that comes close to the railway rifle in terms of damage, but It's .45-70 though! I've played through most of the FH quests and only have like 14 rounds of it saved up.

 

You can buy anmo for it in Far Harbour

My 2 shot combat rifle does similar damage

Got about 5 hours in yesterday. I found the power tools, set up the 1st settlement. Got south, found Nucleus, said I would think about their quest.
Making my way towards last person (I think) I need to kill for Ms Dalton. Stopped at a few places, cleared out the quarry, since it was also a
Quartermaster quest for BH scribe for me. Took another perk in rad resistance and another in scrounger.

I am walking around with:
.308 sniper for most duty, I switch to Kellogs .44 for ghouls, and have the Guass rifle for STHF time.
Wearing Ballistic Fatigues and a hodge-podge of stat boosting/stealthing armor pieces.

I havent bothered with the Harpoon or a .45-70 yet, just collecting the ammo.
Companion is the Detective, with a built up Institute Rifle.

How long do I have to keep him, for synth stuff, before I can ditch him for the Longshoreman to work on his perk?

How many hours are in a Canadian day? All the projects you do and to have logged enough fo4 time to be over level 100, you must either never sleep or have 40-hour days.

 

I play Fallout 4 a couple hours a night usually before I go to bed

So I ran into a savage hermit crab just now and even after I crippled it's legs on both sides, it was still moving pretty quick. Not at all like the fog crawler or mire lurks when their legs get crippled

I bought 300 rounds of .45-70 last night in Far Harbor

 

Yeah, I am seeing huge amounts of it (366) last time, in FH by the weapons guy.
Of course, he has 13 rounds of .308 for me.

I think the longer you leave something alone, it just increases at a higher rate. I should leave his .308 untouched, and it time to swing buy

I have usually just been hitting up GoodNeighbor, after doing missions in the Commonwealth.

 

I got in a couple other hours and then shut it down.
Dalton quest line done
Started Acadia line, recovery mission done, continuing others.
I figure I can do other stuff then ask about the secret thing.

Are all the FG settlements supposed to look like settlements on the map?
I only did the north one, I figure by now something else should be available, maybe not.

Probably time to swing by that Ship that is a Trapper base, hopefully repopulated with assholes to kill n stuff.

6 people in settlement, 15 food, 12 water, 10 beds, 5 turrets and 4 watch platforms.

I need to check out Longfellows cabin, I assume its supposed to be your "base" on FH.

 

I have a weapons vendor in all my settlements too
