OME BP-51 suspension gave me 4 inches of lift all the way around. 285/75/16's rub at full lock, will have to do some trimming later. :sawzall:

Wow, 4" of lift? Sure looks good, I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on how it rides.

So far I've only had it on pavement. I took it through a parking lot full of speed bumps at night, hit them at various speeds. It feels very, very smooth. A lot smoother than the Icons I had on my 4runner.

I've got some squeaks and jingles to look into though. Not sure if it's the suspension or UCA's or skids I just put on but it makes a little more noise than I'd like. Hopefully I can fix that.

Wow we are on the same page I have the BP-51s on the way from the place I recommend to y'all , an RCI skid on my front porch and getting an aluminum pelfreybilt haha. Stoked to hear about the smooth ride -- can't wait for mine to arrive!

Nice! I love being able to get all this stuff in aluminum, saves so much weight.

The RCI skids are really nice. Did you get the t-case and trans skids?

I went with the IFS for now as I installed a fumoto valve and wanted to protect it ASAP, but I see full underbody armor in my future, especially in aluminum as it barely adds weight and doesn't need to be painted and won't rust. I've seen lots of steel skid rusting where they get scratched.

Agreed, even though we don't have much rust here in Vegas it's still nice to never have to worry about it. The aluminum skids feel plenty strong as well, and they look sexy unpainted. Can't beat them in my book.

Do you have a diff drop to go on with your suspension? With the amount of lift this kit provides I'd recommend it.

Still on the fence , I might see how it feels and then go from there, but I'm definitely considering it. Especially as several iinitial reports including yours are saying a 4" lift is what the BP-51 kit is coming in at.

Yea I measured all points with a laser before and after putting the kit on, it lifted by 4 inches exactly all around.

That's what @Camel51 measured out as well post install, I'm stoked that it is a 4" lift as I wanted a utilitarian no nonsense lift like the ones OME has offered for years, and the extra inch inch and a half is cool with me as it looks killer, it's like the best of both worlds!!

Yea only problem with the 4" lift now is that I don't think I can fit an RTT on the roof and still get into my garage lol.

Aahhh shoot, haha!! I don't think anyone was expecting the BP-51s to come in so high, though we should have guessed! OME historically under estimates/states their lift kits by at least a half to a whole inch +....

No they didn't notify me or give me a tracking number. My UCA's showed up by UPS about a week before the BP51 kit arrived by freight truck on a pallette.

Awesome build! Sub'd. Question. How did you get the RCI skid to mount with the diff drop on? I had a diff drop kit on and my skid wouldn't fit. So I took it off and it mounted on fine.
