    If you only use it once a year I don't think that anything bad will happen since that's about 4-5 applications before you will need new skins anyway. Sunlight and ozone will most likely do more damage at that rate. I have a high pressure electric washer from Home Depot, only cost $79 on sale. It does a great job of cleaning wheels, tires, decals, badges and weather stripping if you're not careful!
