That would make going to the dentist a much better experience!

 

Only if the dentist was a female, and hot of course!

 

I wasn't talking about having the dentist do it, they need to concentrate. That act does not require a medical degree, but does require a separate, unique skill set.

I absolutely hate the dentist. I usually get the gas to help with the anxiety. I have a wicked gag reflex which makes it even more fun............. Ok let the jokes fly

I think you are looking at that backwards. I don't put anything in my mouth.

 

I hadn't gone to the dentist for 7 years before about a year ago. I ended up with an abscess from needing a root canal. I was in the most pain of my life. The dentist gave me vicodin and that would help the pain for 30 minutes. Worst 3 days of my life until they were able to do the root canal. After that ordeal and 6 fillings, I have started going every 6 months! Still don't like it though

 

I went probably 4 years without insurance and needed to have a couple of cavities filled when I started going again, but I got lucky enough not to need any root canals or any serious rebuilding. Cavities are a lousy time on their own; hopefully I never need a root canal or a crown done. Just seeing how it's done from the little diagrams on the office wall gives me the willies.

But, I did pay for a couple of cleanings out of pocket during that stretch, which probably helped.

 

I was fine with the actual procedure once the pressure of the abscess was relieved

 

My first was 20 yrs ago, 3 hours all in all. My second was a few yrs ago, less than an hour.

 

Well you guys must have it good where you work. I look at going to the dentist as a way to get out early! Woo Hoo!!!

 

I don't mind the dentist. The one I have is good. Had my wisdom teeth pulled, no pain at all, during or after he pulled them.

So it's not Friday yet? I think I'm going to make it Friday. cough cough I'm "sick" tomorrow.

i don't know what you guys do for insurance, state farm wouldn't cover the mods on the truck. i just moved both of the cars over to geico, cut my rate in half, and they're covering the mods
