I have Allstate. They cover up to $1000 of mods. If someone smashes my front bumper, they'll let choose an aftermarket one and still cover it.

They didn't say how high they'd go up to, but I listed off all my stuff and values and she put it down and adjusted the rate. only brought my annual premium up a little

They may want to photograph it too. I had to do that with my stereo in my Oldsmobile, mainly they wanted to see it was all bolted in though and what exactly it was so that is not usually needed with things such as your mods.

    Hanover. Been happy with them.

Whenever I've gotten quotes from anyone else, they've been outrageous for reasons I don't understand. They quote me a 6-month policy for the price that Hanover gives me for a year.

I'm 24, so that doesn't help, but I pay something like $1300/year right now so I don't think that's bad at all. Always just write the check for the full year, too--never understood why anyone would want to pay the finance charges to go month-by-month.

Can't speak on mods, though. Everything I've done is basically improvements on OEM components, so the cost of that hasn't been outrageous.

i was able to do both of my cars with geico for the same as just the tacoma with no aftermarket coverage at state farm. unfortunately, state farm is way less money for the bike than geico could do though

I have a friend who insures different vehicles with different companies because it actually works out cheaper.

I just have the truck, so haven't had to deal with that.

Sometimes it's have to instead of want to..

What works in my favor is I have 2 vehicles in my house, plus my homeowners through the same agent.

Anytime, just happy it will get some use instead of sitting in the garage..oh wait it did keep the gauge company too hahaha

Not a bad idea actually, if you decide against the silver it's easy enough to line-X or paint them up

Sometimes I forget that single+no kids isn't so common, and that's what enables me to do that.

Different strokes..I'd rather pay off higher debts first, like my mortgage and have $ to fix it

Student loans are gone but I didn't rush on those because at least I can write off the interest on them. Mortgage is another story, while there's a tax benefit there I really need to get it paid fast at my age
