    Hey Jimbo,

Walmart controls the distribution to the their store locations after we send them the coolers. Walmart would be a better source for information about specific locations, but you can always use a handy free tool like: https://visualping.io/ to get notified by email right when it's in-stock online.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for posting MedlinAround, I'll talk to one of our product designers to see if this is a known issue and if there is a fix or trick to getting the handle back in place more easily.

I checked at my local Wally last night and my buddy that works there said they haven't gotten any of the OT coolers, but both the Wal Mart's about 20 min away did, so I will be heading there when I get a chance to pick up a cooler. I was thinking of getting a Coleman Xtreme but I figured I'd give the OT a shot. I love my OT tumblers.

I've got yetis in those sizes lol I just want a small one to mount in the bed or on my future roof rack to keep 90% of the time. I won't be so pissed if I fuck it up. Gonna have to paint it black though. Everything I own must be black.

    Hey MedlinAround,

The design team got back to me.

When constructed there's a little bit of tolerance (variation) in the dimensions of that bend in the tubular stainless steel handle, and if its bent to a dimension that is too tight, it will fit tight in the cooler.

We'd like to see some photos if you'd like to send them, just to make sure the issue isn't the orange side pieces (whether damaged, loose or not seated properly).

Long story short, we can do 2 things:
    1. If it's a defective handle we can send you a new one, or,
    2. You can remove the handle and carefully "adjust" the bend slightly in an effort to loosen the fit against the side index bumps. Its as simple as pulling the vertical bars of the handle in opposing directions to increase the distance between the end caps.

Either way, you will need to remove the handle of your cooler. We put together a little video instructing how to remove the handle easily and safely:

Photos will go a long way in assessing if this is the issue if you'd like to send some feel free to post here or contact us: service@ca-innovations.com

    Thanks,
    Cam

    Check The Build Thread
    Hey Cam,

I'm the one that did the review here so if you have specific questions or suggestions on the test please let me know.

What do you suggest I/we do about the bubbling in the lid as I pictured. Should I just go ahead and exchange it at Walmart or is it something to be expected with all of them?

Thanks for joining TW and offering excellent customer service to its members and others who stumble upon this review! Will you be ok with me adding you, your comment, and the email address you provided to the first post so it can be easily found?

    Thanks,
    Dan

I'll never see any of these coolers in VT or NH.
Already signed up for the email when in stock from Walmart.
    Inbox is empty :(
Winter time I just open my back door leave it on the deck.
Would rather have a nice Ozark cooler.
