Hey guys, 5 months from receiving the truck and the exterior and interior are finally done. Here's a couple pics with the fender flares and new grill!.

 

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. The first time they said they got it aligned correctly and everything looked correct. I just got a call back from the dealer, it's now being sent to a body shop cause they can't figure out why it won't align correctly. The truck only has 7k on it. I hope it's nothing else major. It hasn't been in an accident and the most it's been "offroad" has been forest service roads and a dirt parking lot.

 

How are they holding up after washing the truck? do you have to avoid scrubbing the wash mitt over them?

 

Here's the before and after.

Tinted the front windows to 35% (Ma. law)
Removed the B Pillar Vinyl
Took off the chrome Tacoma and put on the sweet @rrentrop Tacoma Decals!

Nothing crazy but feels like the clean look I want is underway.

 

What size are your wheels?

 

Went to the mountains! Tires and Level Kit was very smooth over rough roads! Very pleased how the Mods turned out! Truck On!

 

Added a " screen off " image to my Tacoma today .. GO BUCKEYES !

Installed fronts of my lift kit today. I will install the rear tomorrow.

Get rid of the V6 and black out the door badges. IMO

 

Just picked her up this week! Ordered on 04/18, not too long of a wait and well worth it! My first truck, I am leaving my Subaru of 13 years, got to love the new car smell.

 

Interesting. I haven't had mine off road yet or anything rough on it either. May take mine to a dealer this weekend or next. Just one of those things that's going to annoy me. On a better note, dipped my tacoma badges and debadged the V6 off the tailgate. Looks good for this being my first time.

It always makes me laugh... Dudes are always buying their lift kits and they get all the hardware carefully sprawled out on fine linen, comforters, flower petals, whatever. Always so proud of that new gear!! So precious... must be so careful. But we all know its going under your truck where it will live a life of rocks, dirt, salt, snow, etc. But before they go on.... no scratches!!!

Anyway, i do the same shit. Its just funny when you think about it.

 

Super easy. Just a couple of 10 mm bolts to take out and the rest just pulls out

 

Installed the pop n lock this evening, more involved than I expected but went ok. mental note: don't put the rods back on the wrong holder... not as though they are color coded or anything...... lol
