It was around 95 degrees here outside today... But 118 degrees in my shop. No ac in there unfortunately.

I have been to more than half the states and a handful of countries.... The hottest place is wherever you are currently sweating!

I hear that. Ten more to go and I'm eligible! Ironically my anniversary date is Feb 14 haha. But yeah, the Seabees fixing the plat out our shower water tank (which was black plastic) on the roof of the shower clu, so we'd have to shower at like 3 am when the water finally "cooled down" to about 100*F. No one likes the Coast Guard haha, bastards. Good dudes though

So I hope the shop installed the right kit. I ordered a medium load OME lift kit with 888 springs. I took stickers off of the springs I say still on when I got home and they say 887 on it. Here's a picture of the box as well as a picture of my receipt.

Did you have to cut the weatherstripping along the windows to get the vinyl off? I want to remove mine i'm just afraid of how far behind the weatherstripping it goes.

Had TRD 'Beadlocks' & new Goodyear rubber installed today. Truck needs a wash and some better pics. Duratrac 265/75/16s slightly rub plasticolor mud flaps at full lock, but some heavy duty mounting tape seems to have helped that.

Hope you never plan on turning while at speed, hitting any bumps, or flexing because those are going to rub like a SOB.

That being said I like them! Looks awesome!

Thanks man, I have seen other roof mounted lights but they look too tall sticking over the roof. Mine is almost flat parallel with the roof and about an inch or two sticking from the front windshield. I got my light bar from ebay (50" inch Chinese but has CREE led's) about $180. My brackets from relentless fabrication about $130. So far no problems (besides the whistling noise, but that is common with roof mounted lights). It was a pretty easy install, the roof has pre-made holes for a roof rack (i know for the TRD doublecab for sure has it), so i used those. The pre-made holes are underneath that plastic grommet on the roof, lift the grommet and you will see the hole pre-made cover with some tape. The brackets are made to use the holes so that makes it that much easier. I ran the wire down the side windshield into the hood. (i had to splice off the wires insulation to make it fit down the side windshield. In all, spent about $300 and couple hours installing it.

They actually aren't rubbing any. I removed the valence though at the time of the lift. I took it over some hard bumps and inclines at full lock even in reverse and hasn't rubbed. This is my wife's truck and will be a pavement princess anyway.
