thanks guys! i really didnt want to take it back off the truck once i had it on.. its truly a beast of a skid. its made entirely of 1/4" plate, has the cutout for the oil drain plug, and uses 6 mounting locations.

Damn, Kevin! That is one hell of a skid you have there!

How much does that thing weight in at? Any prices on the front skid yet, and will it work with a Prerunner, or just 4x4?

the skid SHOULD work with a prerunner.. however i have yet to test it on one. i see no reason why it wouldnt work on a prerunner though. the skid is a bit hefty weighing in at something like 75lbs. however its about the toughest front skid your going to find for these trucks right now......

Think it will work for us 6" guys? Does it cover up the mounting of the factory skid? I like how the factory skid looks.

yea its kinda hefty... i can do a 3/16" version also if someone wanted...

i just figured i've seen enough front skids smashed in so why not make it a little beefier...

i doubt it would work with a 6" kit... i am hoping to get something figured out for them also though so just keep an eye out! ohh and no it would not work with the factory skid... who needs that tinfoil when you've got solid steel! :D

yea thats my thoughts. obviously the front skid takes the brunt of the abuse compared to the rest of them. thats why i chose to make it a bit thicker than the rest...
