Try shutting off the Bluetooth. I read somewhere if your phone is connected by USB and it try's to link up using the Bluetooth it will cause this.

Just discovered this today, not sure if it has already been mentioned but I haven't seen it yet in this thread:

If you tap the mini compass in the top left-hand corner of the navigation screen on entune it switches between the stationary map and the rotating map (the rotating map has your vehicle direction stationary and always facing forward). This also changes the compass on the mini screen between the gauges from a stationary compass with a moving needle to a picture of a silver Tacoma and rotating direction.

Just discovered this today, not sure if it has already been mentioned (sorry if already shared and discovered):

If you want to still have the radio on but turn off the engine, keep it in D and press the brake pedal, then press the on/off button. Finally when engine's turned off, put in P. I used to have to turn the engine off and then press on button back on to listen to the radio while sitting my my truck.

also if it hasnt already been said:

for those with the TRDs or Limited's that use the key fobs. if the battery in the FOB dies, you will be able to open your door with the regular key that comes with the fobs. Your FOB will still work to start your car, you will just have to place it directly next to your push button start when you go to ignite. There is a RFID in the keyfob that will allow the vehicle to detect the key even if the FOB battery dies.

Carissa works great on 3rd gen Tacomas but it does not support older models unfortunatly.

Are you still under warranty? If so take it in asap! I wouldn't mess with anything. Worst case it is because of the pop n lock you installed. Just my $0.02.

The truck only comes with one tail gate key. First thing I did was go to my local Orchard hardware, and had 3 keys made in a few minutes for 6$.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but it applies to those with the tanneau cover.

The rear latch has two positions. If you close the cover it will latch but it still will have about 1-2" of play allowing you to stick your fingers between the cover and the tailgate. It will also allow water to get in the rear seal. If you press down hard right above the latch on each side you will hear it click again and it will lock the cover in nice and tight and completely seal it.

What have others done to cover the holes from the front bumper licence plate holder? Looking for some ideas that are clean and stock looking. (reversible to re-mount the holder if need be as well but not a huge issue)

Any plugs would work or you can spend a little money and get paint matched units.
