Nope you don't. It's actually very easy just pull down slowly and it will come off

It was $150 and that included having them sandblasted. I know others have said they have had quotes of $300.

If I were you, I would only have the step parts linex and all the mounting parts I would epoxy spray paint. The linex made them 10x harder to install because where they slide on the frame to install didn't slide. I had to use 2 jacks to jack them on the frame and everything had to be lined up perfect cause you can't move them to get the bolts in. I almost sold them because I couldn't get them on and finally 2 other guys helped me and we got it done.

Since i was about 15 it's been off to the left a bit... Taught me an important lesson though... A rally sport camaro is not the place for rough sex.

Thanks, wasn't noticing it until this morning where it was rock steady at the lower hash mark, then all of sudden it jumped. Guess this morning took a little longer to warm up, or me to even notice.

Replaced the aweful interior bulbs with led's ... made a HUGE difference. You can see a comparison on the visor with stock bulb on right and new led bulb on left.
Also only took me about 10 minutes to replace all the interior bulbs .. for overhead console just pull straight down starting at front drivers corner closest to windshield and work your way around counter clockwise ..console snaps out and bulbs are right there

looking forward to installing my DIY Pop-and-lock this weekend. Seems like by placing connectors between the harnesses so that the tailgate can be removed provides a convenient method for allowing a thief to us a couple of flashlight batteries to unlock the tailgate. I guess you can only make it inconvenient, but cant protect against everything. Regardless, I might forego the connectors and hide the wires in a loom. Hopefully they are not that smart.....or at least not reading this thread.:fingerscrossed:

... or backfeed power to the door locks through the connector and get into the cab. I'm not sure if this could happen, but it seems possible to me.

yeah has a 3" lift from All-Pro. it's their "pro" package. I also threw in a 1/4" top plate spacer on the driver's side to get rid on the lean. I stuck with the 17" rim and got the six shooters in matte bronze from FNWheels (awesome to work with). running 285/70r17 nitto trail grapplers (full caster, no rubbing)

Tepui Kukeman Sky. I love it. The ruggedized version would have been ideal, but it doesn't have skylights. The one hiccup i had was when i decided to chop the bed rack down to be just above the rear window in an effort to reduce the height of the truck when fully assembled. I made it impossible to put the window support in because the cab is in the way. I solved for this with boring out the hole a bit and using a bungee to provide tension.
