that would be AWESOME! I try to make at least a few games a year, a buddy of mine used to get up close season tickets and I'd tag along but he didn't last year.

2 years ago, both he and I got selected to do one of the on-ice intermission games. We had to run across the ice shirtless, pick up a folded and frozen t-shirt and beat the hell out of it with our hands to put it on. First person to do so won a chance to come back on fan appreciation night to try and win a new Tundra. My friend actually won the frozen shirt game but lost the Tundra lol.

If I was to be patient for good deals & slowly collect the parts for the conversion the parts alone could be around 1k, than there's a cost for installation & finding a shop that will even do it
If I could do the work myself it actually wouldnt be that bad but Im not that confident in myself :burp:

All good, I dont mind it :rofl:Even if foresay I get an older rig I have no intention of 2nd gens, or the dreaded 3.0 . Although If I did get an older rig I wouldnt mind wrenching on it at all, I'd more than happily learn how to wrench on it especially since if I mess something up it's not my daily driver. I'm defanitly hoping to get some mechanical experience one of these days :D, but definately wouldnt tackle anything extradinary that's way out of reach..... I'm not that kinda person

@Nicklovin Don't go too cheap if you go for the old 4x4 beater route, I did that once when I was 20 and had a '99 Prerunner, I wanted a 4x4 so bad but only had a retail job while in school...I saw an '85 Toyota pickup for sale in the paper for $500 bucks, "runs but needs work"...I thought hell yeah so I went to meet the guy

He was a complete tweaker, gakked out of his mind and the truck was a total POS that wouldn't run. You could tell he had taken it apart while tweaking and put it back together. I was young and dumb and bought it anyway lol, it was only $500 bucks, figured I could get it up an running. BIG MISTAKE. I spent a few grand on it easily over the next few months and never got it to run right, and the 4wd system never worked. Sold it for $500 bucks for parts only. That was a big life lesson for young adult me lol. The primary one being that you don't buy shit off of tweakers....ever

oh my CV's are good, I'm just looking at taking it into Bob Smith for the tranny issue I've been having since the Miller Jeep run :( Oddly though, the problem hasn't been so bad the last couple of days as it was the first couple after the meet.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
y'know I was mudding once and after a good drifting/powerslide I took on this odd groaning/grinding noise that gradually got softer and softer until it was only happening on right hand turns. THe next day I'm climing around under it and see that some how a small corner on that cheeseball "skid" under the gas tank had gotten bent over and was just gently rubbing the drive shaft.

Bent it back and all was well again.

In short: have you seen if anything is physically out of place?

Don't even bother, just go long travel and get some rcv's. I know it's a lot of money but in the end you aren't replacing something more than once
