If you're unhappy with it and changing those few accessories wont solve that for you, then trade it in. I agree with what a few earlier replies said: If you can afford it, do what makes you happy. We just traded in the wife's Chevy Spark. It was having issues, but still had a full warranty and was paid off. In the long run, I knew she wanted a VW Tiguan or small SUV. I went and traded the Spark for the Tiguan without her knowledge. She loves it!

In the long run, a few grand down payment and a couple hundred bucks a month was worth it by a long shot.

If I bought a Fiat, I wouldn't get access to the parking lot :D

My lotus/Jag fetish is bad enough. Alfa Romeo would mean, I can't ever even come to work. Most of my friends already are all dealer service advisors :D

Waiting a year is probably a great idea. The main reason I bought new was because I couldn't find something from '12 on that made sense for me price wise since a couple thousand would get me new. I honestly still cant drive the thing without a smile. I'm not all tears.

My SO bought herself a new Prius C the same week and when we drive that instead I'll usually go over and hug the truck and let it know we'll be back.

I worked with my dealership to get a dedicated allocation. The inventory manager requested a change to an inventory build, converting it to the unicorn I got. I had to wait for its particular to build date to come due, but I am extremely happy to have exercised patience to get the exact build I wanted.

    Obviously.

My buddy had a GF and her dad owned a car dealership. He got a Tundra at cost, about 18k...broke up with her a year later.

Traded his truck in last year for a profit lol.

    Ok done getting off topic...

Wow, you're in good company. You just described ME!

Except it's both cars and motorcycles for me. I'm 40 and I started driving at 16, and i'm on my 30th or so car, and 50th motorcycle.

As I got older I got a 'little' smarter. I had leased a '15 WRX, but sold it off in less than a year because my residual was low. I am now picking vehicles with higher than normal resale values to help with my addiction.

I have a '16 TRD sport - and will get a TRD Pro when it comes out if I can get my hands on one. And like you, the desire to change vehicles just pops up one day with no rhyme or reason. I just wake up and say, time for something new..

Glad to be in company of all my twins!!!

I didn't even mention any of my motorcycles. I can't admit to all my problems at once!!!! Unlike you, I am on my 26th motorcycle only. :)

Your post made me feel good about myself.

However, this isn't a good thing! It is just helping me JUSTIFYING our behavior more!!

i need it to stop, not continue!! I was SO happy no one had TRD OR around me in 6MT. So I was going to wait for TRD PRO. But now two dealers have my exact option TRD OR 6MT that I can have end of the month. SIGH.

If it makes you feel any better, I bought my 2016 TRD Sport 4x2 the same way you did. Bought it without any research. After a few weeks, I realized I should've gone for a 4x4. I ended up selling it privately and buying a 2013 TRD Off-road. I absolutely love it. Ya, I took a loss. But I'm happy.

It's funny, because this 'problem' only applies to vehicles and perhaps cell phones in my life. Everything else is 100% stable. Oh and maybe shoes too. I love shoes.

Not to be a dick, I'm a alcoholic and you're not even close. So...
Most will and I do get what your getting at, but it is deeper than alcohol. A

Buyer remorse is just that. Not attached to physical, spiritual, emotional inadequacies.

I think you're being somewhat sarcastic and I get. And I think your approach is funny, but some "TOUCHY, FEELY, NEW ALKY MIGHT, Get their feelers all bent then Chris will ban you and then all shit hits the fan...

Well I am not looking to get anybody's feelings hurt.

I was just relating my experiences, which others seem to (on this thread), relate to. Our issues are certainly not just buyers remorse, but it goes much deeper than that. WHAT is the issue we have, I don't know. Thank you for your post.

So funny, because I'm always just the opposite.

I'm generally sadder about getting rid of a truck that I've gotten attached to than I am happy about the new one. I keep them 7-10 years.

You never know. Years ago I traded a 4cyl Ranger for a 4.0 6cyl Ranger after less than 6 months. My payment went up less than $30.00 a month and to me it was a night and day difference so worth it.
