I purchased an LED kit that I've used on other vehicles with a lot of success so I thought I'd give them a try on my '16. Problem is, the inner part of the fender is in the way for the bulb to go into the headlight assembly. The fan unit on the back of the LED bulb is too fat/wide. Now without buying a bunch of kits to go trial and error on, what are some brands that you guys have used that you know fit and have good luck with? I searched threads and saw Opt 7 as a choice, but I have a friend that had nothing but bad luck with them. Any others out there that are a solid choice?? Thanks TW!

I think I'm going to try jumper led's, he is one of the vendors on this site. He says they fit 3rd generation.

Did you get them yet? I've been too busy to do anything about it until now so I was circling back here.

I just tested the RSI LEDs that is on a group buy right now and the fit was tight for putting in the low beams but with a little wiggling they slid in fine.

I have the OPT7s on my truck and it seems they have dimmed on me for some reason. I ordered the RSI kit and will be doing a comparison of the 2 when I get my head lights.

Edit: I do know the Sirius LED bulbs also don't fit so you can avoid those.

Thanks for this!! I'd like to go with RSI, but I'm not a big fan of the 6500k color. Too blue for me, but I am not ruling them out just yet.

The color can be a bit inconsistent with the OPT7 lights. Some people are reporting a lot more blue than others. I'm pretty sure with just about any aftermarket LED it will be that way.

And that's exactly why I try to go with an advertised color of 4300k or 5000k at the most since most aftermarket are exactly how you say...from my experience as well.

I got my RSI's today still trying to figure out the allen wrench as the instructions are lacking.

Yeah the instructions could be better. I had to ask as well.

    The LEDs should be horizontal:

It's a matter of putting it in and seeing if it needs to be rotated, and if so by how much and in which direction.
