I'm looking for measurements from the bed cap to the top of the "T", and from the bed cap to the top of the second "F" from both passenger, and driver's sides on a 2012+ Offroad factory decal, like this one:

Pics of the measurements, or a factory install sheet, would be a bonus.

Measured my 12 Off Road factory decal, both passenger/driver side the same. I measured from the bottom of the bed cap to the top of the decals where you requested and I get 5 3/4 inches. If I would have measured to the top of the decal, not the top of the T or F I would subtract 1/16 of an inch. Probably some variance and someone will probably have exact factory measurement specs.

    Thank you sir.

So both ends of the decal ("T", and "F") measure @ 5 3/4" from the bed cap?

On mine yes, this was from the bottom of the bed cap to the top of the letters. I used a soft tape and placed on end on bottom lip of black bed cap to the top of the T and F. I think they should measure the same if it"s level and hopefully both sides symmetrical. My decal has a clear top edge of +/- 1/16 of an inch. I would wait for pro- I have seen replies in past where experts posted pics with measurements.

Look on the thread for custom bedside decals. I know I've seen a copy of the factory specs on there somewhere...

Thanks man. I want to be sure, because I have the factory install sheet for the older style (the one that came on my truck), and the front edge is actually slightly lower than the back edge in reference to the bed cap. The newer style looks more even (visually at least).

I actually have the one for the older style decal, I'm pretty sure that's where I got that one from. I'll dig through it again, to see if someone posted the newer style as well.

If you go the the thread on my post #6 there is a diagram and they are different. I don't know why but sure there is a reason, last guy on that thread questioned why but no on replied. Mine were as measured- even and symmetrical. Maybe taco lean?

    Here's the finished product:

    Nice, and level.

Just a heads up for the next guy:

When I installed these (using the wet method, and squeegee as recommended by the factory instructions), there will still be some small bubbles when I was done (I squeegee'd the shit out of these things).
These bubbles ended up disappearing on their own after about a day. The decal sits nice, and flat now. No bubbles at all.

Thanks again @Solid Seung for the pics they helped out huge.

    What's your point new guy?

There's probably at least 50 threads on each subject, if not more. While searching for this information, I didn't find this particular information, so I started a thread. Maybe it will help the next guy as well.

Did you have anything to contribute, or you just here to shit on it?
