Yankee Hill is stock friendly. Especially now that the snow is mostly melted

I'm down! I've heard a lot about it. Would love to put a trail with a name!

How far is that from Denver? I don't mind technical stuff. I've got more seat time than the average Joe, I just don't want to come home with a bunch of scars on the ride.

Body damage is a 0 on this trail if you keep to the bypasses.
Heart Attack Hill runs the risk of a roll over, end over end, and the
"Chutes" obstacle will claim the drivers side of the body if it desires to do so. Easy bypass around that. Those two obstacles alone are what makes the trail famous. Otherwise it's fairly easy, some hills, some mild off camber stuff. The center of the trail runs through a neighborhood.

The main Bypass for Heart Attack Hill has one very short section that will flex things out and this is the section that a stocker may need assistance.

Otherwise the views are great. It's kind of a long trail so start time should be no later than 10:00 am at the trail head. Leaving Fort Collins at 9:15ish will put you there about that time.

This also sounds good. I can do bypasses and then spit for you if you need. I just want to get on trails an enjoy the truck and the scenery!

My days of running Heart Attack hill are pretty much over. Been there, done that, stories have been written about it. I've broke more shit on that hill than all the other trail breakage combined. If you just run it conservatively, it's not a big deal.
If testosterone comes in to play, the harder lines become the goal and shit starts to happen.
Two weeks ago a guy in a jeep, he just happens to run a 4x4 recovery service, broke the rear transfer case output midway up the hill and had to limp off in front wheel drive. It was kind of ironic.

Gotcha. My days of that are also done. I had a mountain back home that cost me ALOT of money over the years. I just want to enjoy the ride and the scenery nowadays.

I'm good for Sunday, if there is interest, I'll run up there tomorrow on the bike to make sure the gate is actually open. 99.9% sure it will be.

My vote is for Yankee hill. Nice and mellow but still fun and there's a great shooting section. Plus it's only a short drive from Denver

Let's do it! Close and casual. A nice Sunday drive.

Do you never get to shoot your guns or something? Seems like you're always more worried about that than the wheeling.

I would be up for Yankee Hill too. Never been there. Whatever majority says.

When I go wheeling with a Tacoma group nobody else ever wants to shoot. When I go by myself or with some of my other buddies we always shoot. Plus shooting out on a trail is way more fun than being at a range
