This was the first time I tried this camera on the birds. Bad lighting....A few other problems. First chance we get, I'm taking pictures of the dogs. They actually like posing....Birds? Not so much. The flash bother's 'em.

The birds have as much personality as ANY pet we've ever had. They are incredibly funny, and LOVE to show off if it get's them attention. Very loving....and the Jenday Conure (gold head) is a bit of a watch dog. Don't try to hurt me! She'll attack you. (seriously)

We have Wild Black Hooded Parakeets flying around the neighborhood here. I'll try to get some pictures. They sure are loud!

Any one know how to get rid of whippoorwills without resorting to pulling out the howitzer and removing a 100 yard section of neighborhood. Lol.... Dam things. Have to run the ac fan as white noise so I can sleep. :laser::quickdraw::infantry::infantry::infantry:

Actually my electrical bill is not that bad maybe $65 - $75 mo during the summer months . As for the warm late nights early mornings we only see this during excessive heat warnings and that's it

Great now I have 2 songs in my head

    Hear that lonesome whippoorwill
He sounds too blue to fly
The midnight train is whining low
I'm so lonesome I could cry
Go ahead and hate your neighbor
Go ahead and cheat a friend
Do it in the name of heaven
You can justify it in the end
There won't be any trumpets blowing
    Come the judgment day
    On the bloody morning after
    One tin soldier rides away

I have a "shot bottle" of Seagrams 7 in my tool box. Been there since the beginning of time. If I ever retire I'm going to load my box, suck it down, and throw the bottle against the wall. Since I'll never retire I'll never really know if it taste like shit after all these years. ROFLMAO. Since I don't drink it probably does... HEHEHEHEE.

I remember seeing it in your build page. Maybe you can get a pillar pod for the passenger side.

Been looking to get a set of new tires for my 5 spoke T100 wheels and checked out the Michelin M/S 2's today and they look well made. I'm thinking they might be my next tire.

This might sound silly, but ear plugs ... seriously. When our kids/grands lived here with us for 6 months before they moved to PHX, I used them to sleep during the day for my night shifts. Worked liked a charm, I thought I'd be distracted by them, but I wasn't. Worth a try? :notsure:
