I went back and looked at Gash's profile and he is listing his tire size as 265/70/17.

I agree with you, they do look good on the stock rim. I had been contemplating selling my stock rims/tires and buying the 16" FJ Cruiser TRD alloy rims but after seeing Gash's truck, I may reconsider and just mount the same size Duratracs on my stock sport wheels.

Definitely, I was gonna get new rims and mount 285/70/17s but after seeing this it looks great and why drop the extra cash on new rims, the size difference is really minimal**, plus I want to keep my mud flaps

    ** that's what she said

Yup guys I'm runnin' with the 265/70/17. I really like 'em no trimming necessary, they look mean as heck and do look good w/ stock rims.

Thanks Gash! Looks great! I'm now pretty much convinced that I'll save the $$$ and use my stock alloy wheels and run the same tires, size and all.

What kinda mileage are you guys getting out of these? How do they compare in weight to the Cooper S/T in 265/75/16?

I have been looking at getting some of these. The 265/70/17R look a little big for a stock truck. Will they fit no problem on the stock set-up.

Just traded my RT's for a set of Duratracs. They look good on the Tacoma to me and I think they drive/ride better.
But everyone that said they were not noisy must have gotten different tires than I did or have their hearing aid's turned off. They hum at least 1/2 as much as super swampers. Pretty loud to me. Kinda wished now I had of gone with the TA/KO.
