    Good to know. Looks nice! You don't need to wait until the "16" model of the 5100's come out. I called Bilsten and the tech said the only difference is going to be on the front adjustable ones (slightly different locations for the rings) but same valving no other changes.

    Had my 5100 for about a month now. All four corners. Fronts set to .85. Sumo springs in the back. No complaints. Improved ride and cornering. image.jpg image.jpg

    Nice thanks yea I've seen a few others as well. You think it would be a waste of $100 for a 5 year warranty on them from 4 wheeler parts? Anything goes wrong or whatever they will fix or swap new ones in for free for 5 years locally.

    Hey blazingbluesport, its hard to tell in the pics. Does your truck need the sumo springs on it to acheive some rake? I'm thinking .85 would be level, and the sumos would add a little rake? Also, do you think you'll go to 1.75 at some point?

    Just curious guys, I want to go the 5100 route but I have a 2016 2.7 4cyl

    If I set the shock at .85 will it bring me higher than a 2016 v6 set up? I'm guessing I'll have some bro lean? I asked the same question in the 4cyl section with no response. Help will be greatly appreciated!

    No I'll stick with the .85. It sits exactly as I want. I would say it is level +/- a degree. The sumos added 5/8" lift in the rear. I think if I didn't do the sumos I would have gone the route of using a 1/2 spacer above the rear axel like a number of folks did. I have had the 5100 on for about a couple months or little more so I think the have settled as much as they are. I don't have any noticeable taco lean. Long way to answer your question but I think the sumos make me sit level. Without them I would have a slight reverse rake. Or California or bro lean I think they call it.

    I don't have a 4cyl but my experience with a six. If you don't put a 1/2 or 1" spacer in the rear and just have the 5100 at .85 up front you will have bro lean.

    It's pretty close but the front will run a bit higher. Around half an inch to an inch. That's why most are putting in a 1/2 spacer in the rear. There is a couple more threads in this forum. Just search 5100. I used sumos springs it gave me 5/8" but I also needed them to prevent sag as I tow a sport boat and a truck bed full of equipment. The spacer is very easy to install. There are detailed instructions in one of the threads. More or less put a jack stand under the rear part of the frame and a jack under the axel. Undue the u bolts and lower the axel jack down to fit the spacer in. There is a brake line in the area bolted to the axel you need to undue. Similar to installing the sumos. It took me 1/2 hour at most. Torque back up the u Bolt to 52 ft lbs. check them in a week to make sure they are still good. there is a 1/2 spacer ready made for this. I don't remember were you order it but it's in one of the threads. I am a big fan of the sumo springs so I didn't go the spacer route.

    Where did you get your spacer from? Also, have you noticed any sag since the installation (front end)?

    ^ Yes it's mine. I put the Bilsteins on a couple of months ago. It has not sagged or settled since then that I can tell.

    I didn't use a spacer I got sumo springs. No sag on the front. The struts might have settled a very little amount. 1/4 " or less. I think you get the spacer from toyteclifts.com 1/2" solid steel axel shim. $18.99. From what I read you have to hack saw off an inch of the bolt the give you.

    Mine is a 2016 TRD OR 2wd, is yours a 4wd, I'm getting the 5100's and been wondering what settings to level it out, I sit 1 1/2" higher in rear!

    Is that for the 4WD TRD OR DB. Mine is a 2WD TRD OR DC and I sit 1 1/2" higher in rear and wondering the best setting to level mine out with new 5100's
