    I have witnessed the wind before. I have family just north of Aberdeen SD. I'm torn on doing a rack on mine, I have the moon roof open all the time. It's a love hate relationship with it.

    Noticed you went with the dakars and extra AAL, how is the rake of the truck when not loaded? also when fully loaded? Currently in the same boat, debating if I want extra AAL when I get my dakars. Currently have a snugtop topper, prinsu roofrack, and also going to build a sleeping platform.

    The rake of the truck when not loaded is about 2 inches or so. It's a little too much for how it sits right now, but I will be adding a canopy and roof rack here in the next week, and hopefully a all weather series truck vault. I'm hoping with that stuff it drops it down a little bit. When fully loaded (200lbs of dogs, and guessing around 500lbs in gear, fuel, fridge, tent, etc) it sits almost perfectly level front to back. The ride quality is also considerably better. When empty it is a little stiff. I may look into different shocks someday but I am very happy with the springs at this point.

    Does your blind side monitoring still work now that you have a Pelfrey rear bumper? How did they incorporate the BSM?

    Your build is my favorite on this forum. Super clean!

    Thank you so much! As of right now, no. From what I could see they didn't incorporate a place to mount it, so I've got it unhooked. I'll probably just leave it that way as I never used it anyways.

    Are you rubbing or near the UCA with these wheels? I was looking at these wheels for my 2nd Gen with OME 885 and people are saying I will rub like crazy due to offset of wheels and 285s. Thanks

    No they do not rub. It's pretty close together, but haven't noticed any rubbing yet

    Yep, they tip the scales for sure. I got a lab that one vet said would get to be 125. Thankfully, the vet was off by about 30 pounds.
