Ok, thanks. I would have thought the stress concentration around the holes would have made it weaker not stronger, I need to read up on frame theory :).

Edit: Is it because the tube insert connects both sides?

Yes it ties the two halves together. Not really meant for towing

I'm interested in making something similar to the type c bumper you make. For the lower mount you sell, I can't see it in any of the pictures (or at least I don't recognize it) because to be it looks like all the other lower mounts are made with plating. Basically id just like to know what I would need to make something like the c bumper. I plan on chopping the front cross member like it requires also.

The lower mount I sell works for all of my current bumpers. The plate lower mounts are an old design. Let me know If I can help you with anything else.

Do your frame horns match up to the frame? Like can you just weld the horns to the frame? If u can I'd be interested

Had Anthony fab up a set of bumper horns for me. Super easy to deal with, wicked looking product that i know are WAY better than i could have pulled off!
These were made a little taller and out a small amount further than the Taco set, as i am building this bumper for a 2010 Tundra.

came out awesome, esp. for my first bumper! Anthony's horns certainly are beefy and made my job both easier and looking way more pro than i might have been capable of. Thanks for the Hookup Anthony!!!
