my buddy from chicago paid me a visit in his swapped cruiser this morning at dawn.

 

Added RCI transfer case skid plate. Just waiting on my fuel tank skid.

 

@EatSleepTacos ... It's been almost a week and the derped tip has seen rain, mud, rock and heat and is still holding up strong. So far, so good.

Installed my AAL in my saggy ass recall leaf springs. I had serious bro lean going on...they settled to more than an inch lower than my TSB packs with 85k miles on them.... Toyota is pathetic when it comes to leaf packs and our trucks.

This is a band aid until I can come up with the cash for a set of Dakar's.

Here she sits, dragging ass before the AAL install.



Later today or in the next week I will bump my 5100's up to 2.5" in the front to clear the way for new 285's that will be coming soon.

 

Installing 2 10" subs and wiring it up all myself! Cant wait!

 

Installed new front brakes and rotors.

In theory it was easier to do than my BMW motorcycle.

However Both bottom pins were rusted solid in the calipers. Had to use a punch and a two pound hammer plus some choice cuss words to get them free. I had bought replacement pins. Those were installed with high temp brake silicone grease.

Still 50% cheaper the what the dealer quoted me. And I bought new rotors where the dealer was going to machine the existing ones.
