    Has anybody had this issue?

When it rains, my passenger side floorboard gets water on it. It appears to be coming from underneath, but I am not sure. It's like it's coming in from the wheel well or something.

Nobody will have been sitting in the passenger seat, the windows are closed, nobody tracked water in, but it still gets wet.

Any thoughts on where this water could be coming from? Thanks in advance.

check that your underbody rubber plugs are in place where there are cutouts in the floor (under the passenger floorboard). I had to replace one after a dumb ass wiring installer forgot to put one back. Water would have easily splashed up from underneath had I not noticed.

Does it get wet when parked or only after driving it?

Check the TSB sticky for info on two known leak locations that could cause this.

Be sure your A/C core drain is not plugged...

@Skrain great tip, but if that were the case, wouldn't it get wet on non-rainy days when I run the A/C?

Yeah. If it's that specific, then it's a leak somewhere...probably a floor plug.

Thank you. If anyone has pictures of what I should be looking for, I would appreciate it! (Floor plugs, A/C drain etc.)

Also, where can I find the TSB on this potential issue?

Run your ac on a humid day. If there is no water hitting the pavement then the hose is plugged up. Simple fix is to try some compressed air or gently prod it till water starts flowing out again.

I had an 012 sr5 4x4 I bought new that would do the same thing, carried it back to the dealer, turned out it was a defective cowl design that couldn't carry the water away fast enough.

If you find the leak keep us posted. Could help another Taco owner in the future.

That sounds like the cowl drain is getting clogged from time to time, or is partially blocked, so normal rainfall will drain, but very heavy rainfall will overflow it and drain onto your floor. Not sure where it is, but a body shop should know...

Do you park on a left leaning slope?

    Pull your cabin air filter.
See if it is wet. If it is, then the drain channel under the cowling is clogged.
If it's not, then lay a water hose on top or the windshield and start looking.
If nothing gets wet with the hose up on the windshield, then you know it coming from underneath.

I don't, driveway is totally level. BTW, we had a crazy amount of rain today, no leak.

Think we need Scooby Do or the A- Team to help solve this problem.

OP, have you made any progress?
