    It is a shock.

I typically work 777s down to 767s in size. May seem odd but every time I'm put on a 757 (they park in an area I seldom work) I'm amazed at how much smaller they are/appear. When I get put on 757s I wanna bid that work group because I can reach more shit on the airplane & things like tire R&Rs are easy.

Looks super fun! I bet it was a blast. I have never flown in a RV, but I have heard they are great to fly.

Was very fun. Don't have much else to compare it to though since the only other aircraft I've ever been on was a C-130 or commercial jet.

So a commercial flight from San Fran to DFW, any chance they could make up some time when running late?
My sis's flight is running late and according to what they are predicting she will land 10 minutes before her connecting flight will take off.

Any guesses if she will make it?
I would imagine they could make up 5 minutes in the air on a flight that length.

Sorry, I don't have more numbers for you other than on wheels 350pph for around 150KTAS on the 675shp and 350pph for 180KTAS on the 867shp model. Useful load, range & endurance all vary depending on the equipment. Several options with interior packages, air conditioning, single point fuel...

Statistically more Asian airlines have hit strutures in San Francisco than military demonstration teams.

RVs are fun. I've flown and instructed in 6s & 7s, but haven't flown the 4 or 8 yet

Looks like N29YD and N222BC have some sort of pyrotechnic bracket on the wing tips. Do you know what that is about?

They have them on there for colored smoke during air shows. They were all used up, but the RV-8 I flew in had a setup to where he could spray small amounts of oil into the exhaust to create white smoke. Not sure if all the RV-8's have that, but it was pretty cool to see during the dog fighting maneuvers.
