We were going to stay and do the cavern crawl but we're too worn out. Good meeting some more fellow members today. Hopefully you all can make it to the Gorge on the 18th for some wheeling and camping.

Looks like the Expo is a wonderful place to go get your side X side stolen. I'm @ work this morning, about 2 blocks away from the fairgrounds. One of the cops who has this area for a regular beat stops in on Sunday mornings to see if everything is OK here. He said they spent much of the night doing theft reports. All ATV's on trailers.....Thieves just take trailer and all.... He told me he did 3 theft reports himself.

I'm down in Berea, KY. Wish I would have found this earlier as I was at the expo yesterday. I went last year as well and I believe I had a better time and there was more to look at for Toyota guys last year. They may as well change it to the SXS, Rock Bouncer and American Force expo. I still like looking at all the stuff but it's way funner when you get to get hands on with parts your looking to buy. Still a good way to spend a Saturday. We need to meet up in Lexington one night!

I'm about an hour from Lexington. Quite a few of us within a short drive of Lex. Yep...We should get a group together just to get to know each other and maybe have dinner. I'm ALWAYS ready to eat!

If this happens, let me know! I'm about 2 hours south of Lex., right near the state line south of Monticello.

Had a good time watching the local idiots out on the obstacle course. The inside portion wasn't too impressive. Their deviations from the schedule really put a damper on planning around the events. I'd like to check it out again but wont be getting there at 10am next time.

Did score some pretty sweet led pods for my ditch brackets. Took around 200 pictures so I'll post some up later tonight.

As for having a Lexingtonish meet. @MedlinAround is organizing a run to RRG Slade area the weekend of the 18th for camping and wheeling.

The dinner idea might be good for those of us who don't do much wheeling and/or camping...

Between job and health my off road adventures have been cut pretty thin lately. High probability there won't be too many camping trips until this fall at the soonest. I have some HUGE doctor bills to pay off. Insurance is a joke.....

Another idea...meet and go to Somernites Cruise in Downtown Somerset. 4th Saturday of each month, I believe. Hell of a car show!

Not sure what (even IF), but there was a BUNCH of emergency vehicles headed down Phillips Lane towards the main entrance to the fairgrounds about 2 hours ago. A local cop I run into just about every morning said there was a rash of UTV's stolen there last night too. Trailer and all.....Just hook up and go.....

I did get to talk with a couple individuals regarding their awesome Expo trailers while we were there. I first tried to explain them to my wife, who wasn't exactly sold on the idea. Then she saw one for the first time yesterday. We're wanting to do a 2 or 3 week road trip once we both retire. I'm thinking one of these trailers may just be the ticket!

I'm always down to eat as well! Unfortunately I won't be wheeling this truck for a few years. Wife tightened the screws on me till it's paid off! Still lots of cheaper stuff I can do to it till then and it's very capable as is. We can all meet up somewhere easily accessible with plenty of parking to kick tires and then stuff our face.

I saw a couple nice ones as well. I'd love to try and build one, I think it would be a neat project. I wouldn't use one enough to justify the cost of buying a pre built one but it would be fun to build one over a period of time to help with the cost and to tailor it to my needs.

Hope everyone close can make it out to our meet and camp next Saturday! Will have meeting location closer to time. Heres some T's we're having made with our logo. They will have Red River Gorge Truck Meet on the back of them as well. Will also have some interior LEDs available for 2nd Gens that we sell here on TW as well that you can check out https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/interior-dome-led-light-kits.347450/

. We're looking forward to a great ride with everyone!
