I'm no fisherman either, but I enjoy getting out early before its hot. I got my wife into it and she out fishes me.

Run and hide. The effort I had to go through was not worth it. It felt real good like one or two times a year. When you get the older, it's a lot more WORK....... Special pool pad, put up and take down. Everyone comes over and leaves a mess. You have to clean it up. Years ago, yea I had energy to burn. Now, I'm in Eco mode. Buy a second air conditioner. You will thank me....

Striper fishing turned on this week. My friend boated a 55 pounder yesterday. I managed to land one that was "only" 35 pounds this morning.
Big rain coming overnight, so tomorrow will probably be a washout.

The Off Road Expo was a bit of a let down. It's about 99.98% Jeep. Still some cool vehicles on display. Home now. Raining. (surprise) 15 hour work day ahead for tomorrow.

Morning folks! The weather guesses predicted a wash out today but it ain't raining now and I see the sun. Next week is going to be very busy, my daughter and her family are visiting with us for a few days. It's gonna be crowded with the five grandkids here but will be nice because we rarely see them. Well I hope y'all have a great Sunday!

Good morning all. Cloudy but no rain yet. I'm watching the little one while the wife takes a turn on her boat. I hope to get out while it's not blazing sunny and no rain. Since it's going to rain, we are going to ride into Clemson later and get little bit signed up for her next swim lessons.

We ended going out at 5 this morning. Only ones on the water. Wasn't too bad yet. Couple of showers.
Ended up with 3 cookie cutter bass all around 20 pounds. When a big fog bank was heading for us out of the East, it was time to go.
Started getting a bit sporty with incoming tide and East wind. Wind is supposed to crank up later.
