Swapped out the stock flares with some bushwhackers I trimmed. Made the bolts actually functional, and gain great coverage and tighter lines with the truck

Looks great! did you happen to take a side profile shot? I'd like to get a better look at how you trimmed them. I'll be cutting mine up here soon and have been looking for all the reference I can find.

Thanks.. Here's a side profile of the front, didn't get one of the back but I followed the same cut line as i did the front. Basically just trimmed where the fender curved under the original fender well

Nothing yet. Old truck had the works.
    image.jpgJust got 35x12.50x17s
Cut fenders and all cut cab mounts as much as possible because cant weld plates yet.
    Pounded pinch weld back flush.
Pretty much hammered everything hammerable flat and it still is rubbing just reversing and driving full turn. Anyone else have this problem?
If so how did you remedy the situation.
If its rubbing this bad just from just driving i dont wanna know how bad its gonna be offroad.

    Help please.

Either beat it in some more or don't turn full lock reverse. Only time I rub going forward is turning and hitting a bump

Hard to tell with the pic but I think you need to hammer it more. I also had the alignment shop add more positive castor when I went for an alignment.

    Yes
you need to get a 5lb sledge and you need to fold your pinch weld over the other way to the outside it will go way more flat that way. Your pinch weld is nowhere near flat yet. You have two choices :

    1. Beat that area with a sledge and it will push back a bit.

    2. Do an actual tub where you cut off the body and weld a cap on.

Do not grind or cut anything unless you have someone that can weld it up for you or you truck will leak.

You can smash that firewall in pretty far man. You can cut it but I would weld it closed after. It's thin sheet metal

Guess it depends on where your rubbing and can any damage come from it.

Edit: also how many fucks you give about it.
