    Aren't King's the cheapest option for 2.5s?

Don't buy Icons. Buy Kings or ADS. Get a reservoir no matter what, no point in doing shit twice. I suggest 650lb springs.

What's your beef with IVD? They're in multiple vehicles in my family and we love them.

and why are reservoirs a must? I've ridden in vehicles with or without reservoirs and there's not much of a difference.

Pretty sure the reservoirs are to increase the amount of oil so that it dosnet get that hot when compressing multiple times.

They make 'a' difference but for what we're doing and what our trucks will see day to day, they're not worth the extra money. Unless you get a killer deal, emulation shocks are just fine.

I think with a lot of the Forest Roads out here the reservoir would be a good choice. At least for the way I drive.

I just am really not a fan of digressive valving. I've ridden in friends that have Icons on every corner and they're trying to figure out why they ride so harshly all the time at low speeds. I have Icons in the rear of mine and the ride is awful. My dealings with Icon have not been pleasant either.

When I bought ADS shocks the reservoirs hit my tires. ADS went 100% out of their way and took my truck for a day and had new lines and brackets fabricated for just my truck and let me help every step of the way. You are not gonna get customer service like that from Fox, King, or Icon.
    Absolutely love them.
Who knows what the future will bring though. Why skimp now? Sure, my truck is mostly a rock crawler, but those 2 times a year I'm going down a wash near my trucks limit, I'm certainly glad my shocks aren't fading. You also have to think about resale. The resale price will certainly be greater with reservoirs, and they'll be easier to sell. In my opinion, it's worth it because I hate doing things twice.

Well I'm sorry for your experience with IVD. I've had the complete opposite experience with them. Everything has been positive in my book, but that doesn't help that I have inside contacts that are willing to help me when I have questions and problems I'm having.

Sounds like ADS has quite the custom service. They're local to you which make sense.

I'll agree with you on resale and it's not really worth doing the suspension over again, but I plan to redo my suspension one day... with some Diamond Axles and ORI struts. :anonymous: Might do LT before that, but I don't know.

I did and I think it's about perfect for a front bumper and skids. I'd let you drive my truck around but I'm in San Diego for the next 2 months.

I think with your bumper you should. Didn't you also get a winch?

You're also on a tube bumper. 700lb will be better for the plate bumpers.
