People will warn you about the passenger seal like they already have. When I did mine I pushed it in just enough for it to not fall out, then let the cv push it in the rest of the way when I reinstalled the cv. Absolutely no leaks in the past 1,200 miles

    Great info

My passenger side leakes if the cv is turning, but i have manual hubs so it is not a pressing need for me to get fixed.

I did disconnect the battery. Don't care about trip resets but actual miles on the car would be nice
It is reading if I recall correctly about 1000-1200 miles less than actual . It seems to be still counting but starting from an earlier number
Luckily I'm due for an oil change so I can just go off this number I guess ?

I am still confused as to how it got behind, but I researched a method for rolling digital odometers forward. This week i added about 12k miles to a junk yard cluster to match my actual mileage. I dont have time to explain it all now, but you need to order atleast 2 of these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/141280040859. I ordered 4 to be safe. You will use those and a car battery to replicat the VSS signal therfore roll the odomter forward. It took 3.5 days to add 12k miles to mine. My work bench was doing 120 mph haha. This is only used in order to CORRECT mileage. I can give you detailed instructions later.

without manual hubs your spider gears are always spinning so its a good idea to keep them lubed even if theres no load on them

Since we're on the topic of front diffs, mine goes into 4 high no problem, but when going into 4 low I can hear/feel it grinding and it just doesn't want to shift. Happens both in neutral and park, if I turn the truck off and put it I in 4low everything works fine. Any ideas?

At 160k my truck developed a nasty habit of sputtering under load. New plugs and wires today solved that issue.

Pulled 3 Densos and 3 NGKs out which means these were likely the original set that came in the truck. I'll let you guys guess which one was connected to a coil that may be on its way out...
