Got any pictures of how you did your latch for the swing outs?

I'll have to get one, didn't really get any good pics when I was doing the swingouts. I was in a huge rush trying to pound them out before the 4th Annual LBL meet. I didn't end up latching the way I planned. They only pin together, not to the bumper.

Not audibly but I can see it rattle a bit in the rear view. No contact with the tailgate. Pics of latch incoming...

Was going to be pinned with this little guy welded to the bumper between the swingouts but there wasn't clearance with the dropped tailgate. 1.75 DOM with oil impregnated bronze bushings.

You two have some sick bumpers. I really dig how the swing outs look. They just wouldn't be practical for me. I'm in and out of my bed all the time. Having a swing out would make that a three step process (swing out, shell hatch, tailgate). I'm not willing to put up with that. Oh, feel free to thread jack anytime with pics of those two badass trucks.

Thanks man! I knew pyrite was my color the first time a saw it. Going to stalk your build now...:D

Tiny bit of sans-sway-bar IFS flex. :)

Home sweet home. Years ago, the Rome Ferry docked here daily, providing connection between the communities of Rome and Riddleton, TN. The ferry itself still rests on the southern side of the Cumberland River. This was one of my favorite spots for teenage shenanigans growing up. It's funny to me that when I ride down there I usually find myself interrupting kids doing much of the same.
