Please correct me if I'm wrong but with 3.5s new direct and port injection combo eliminates the need for a catch can. I know lexus were the first to have major problems with direct injection so they added a port injector(s) to keep the valves from coking. otherwise i highly recommend everyone use catch cans of direct injection only engines.

Moroso oil catch can installed and de-badged the Tacoma. Looks nice and easier to clean.

 

Hi Irishrye, I'm still not convinced that it is enough to keep the valves clean and besides this is only a test to see how much oil does in fact get
collected. I will review this later down the road and post findings here. I like the idea of keeping oil residue out of the intake. I chose Moroso because I've used their products before and trust the brand. I didn't like the idea of a site tube, seems to me a weak point. Cheers..

 

I've had my ADD W1 catch can on for 2 tanks and have caught about 1tbsp per tank on my basic daily commute. I put some stainless mesh into the "filter" to help catch more.

Also more interested in keeping the intake clean, not worried about fouling the injectors. This engine has a valve cleaning cycle. (Sounds like a valve tap.)

somebody help me out. I got this led foglight upgrade from somewhere here. it was the cree foglight upgrade but I might have ordered the wrong one for my foglight (H3-CREE-WH).
what can I order for my foglight and headlamps out of the opt-7.com website?
so far as my led lightning goes is... led interior, backup and license plate. best upgrade" and a 32" led light bar mounted on the bumper support.

 

The opt7 should be all H11 .
