I believe most folks that run 35's look for 3.75 BS. So I'd have to run 1.25 spacers to clear. I don't think there would be an issue with the control arms it would be more of a clearing the body mount situation. Also in order to run 35's you'll need to cut your fenders too.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
hmm... not worried about fenders or cab mount. Like you said, they can be cut. :D
Maybe I could just buy 2 wheels of each offset, mount someone's old worn 35s for super cheap, and test fit it. Whichever fits better buy 2 more of those plus 4 new tires to go on the truck and put the other 2 that didn't fit as well on my trailer. :notsure: If I explain logically to the wife that I need 6 wheels and tires (or 7), instead of 4, so that trailer matches truck which allows me to only carry 1 spare... This is getting expensive quick.

IMO you can retain your man card as long as you don't get an 18 or above. Lol

No idea how I haven't seen this before. Well done, sir. Soooo, you're on your second set of st maxx. Are you completely satisfied? I'm 99% this is going to be my next tire.

    Thanks!

Yeah I love the Maxx's but I think the STT Pro might be my next tire unless I decide to go with some 255/85/16 ST Maxx.

We all will switch tires no matter what we had before just to try something new. From my experience, ST MAXX is the best AT with MT characteristics on the market. Cooper makes some damn good tires. Haven't tried the Pros yet, can't wait to though.

I agree, I've only had experience with 3 tires on my Tacomas. I've driven other rigs with many other brands of tires but I can only really speak for the 3 I've run on my Tacos. Stock Rugged Fails, Toyo Open Country M/T's and the ST Maxx.

Out of those 3 the Coops are superior. I'd like to run the STT Pros, but it's one of those things where you don't wanna mess up a good thing.

So keep bouncing back to your build page when I want to take a brake from the "Toyota is Buying Back my Tacoma" shit show thread.

Truck is looking good! Looking at yours made me decided to go with the Pyrite Mica that I picked up a few weeks ago
