If you bought them together, King does a free spring swap at purchase (why I chose king over fox or ads). And if your UCA's are not tubular, message me before your buy the Kings or the UCA's.

i might bring my kayak as well. maybe we should just camp at the lake instead of on the trail. sounds like a lot of us have water toys.

we could share a spot and meet up with them on the trail. then we would have a spot to leave the toys and tents.

So looks like I will go up to SlickRock as planned this Sunday the 5th. Will post a trail report. I would be willing to go again next SATURDAY the 11th if some of you are interested. I usually don't camp but just day trip.

What's the lowdown on Niagara Rim...more challenging than Slick Rock? I haven't wheeled either of the two trails...I got skids and I ain't afraid to use em

I haven't done Niagara Rim. I think it may be a bit more than slick rock, but has bypasses also. @cbechtold may be able to answer more. I'd be down to hit slick rock on the 11th with @GHOSTFJ also...

I would say they're about equal in terms of difficulty. Niagara is more of the off camber shit that just feels so wrong. Especially since you don't roll over and land on a tree. You'd roll a few hundred feet into a tree. Play the game safe and you'll get out. My dad's FJC is more top heavy then most vehicles because of the internal roll cage, but for us it shouldn't be a huge deal. The only real difficult part of the trail is towards the end where there's a Little Sluice type area, but it's completely optional. Not really even that hard from what I've seen.

What should be on your truck: Like any trail, I'd say skid plates, sliders, lift, bigger tires and basic recovery gear. Everything else is up to you.

Had some non-atv special-olympian fun in that state-run outlet mall parking lot down San Benito County with @BudMan and @rob1208 today. They resurfaced truck hill, but still haven't done anything about the v-notch at the base of it and left some boulders lying around. Good times!

Damn good times today @EDDO and @BudMan

Shoutout to @BayAreaRunner's buddy Julian. Awesome spotter through vnotch. Made it easy for this n00b to get through it. I'll post the videos later tonight when I get a chance to upload them.
