Finally got my Retrofits installed (TRS D2S 3.0's), and it all works except the high beams are not triggering the solenoid to drop the cutoff shields. Confirmed the high beam signal from the stock wiring harness is working, along with the fuses and stock relay.

The solenoids work if I use test leads to a 12v source, so I know they are not bad.

Does anyone have a pinout of the Morimoto Motocontrol relay? Im not sure if its the wiring harness or the relay thats not correct.

Using a multimeter, both leads going to the drivers side projector has 12v. Not sure if the motocontrol relay has a short or if the wiring harness is wrong. I did have to switch some of the pins around where the wiring harness plugs in at the stock headlight socket. The ground and high beam was switched. Makes me wonder if something else is pinned wrong.

Yeah, the wiring is correct according to that image.

I'm thinking more along the lines the harness wasn't wired correctly at the MotoControl unit or the MotoControl Unit is bad.

Is this a new harness. Shouldn't have to move any pins around. H4 motocontrol harness correct?

Yep, new and unmolested (other than me flipping the two pins in the H4 connector). Had to flip the blue and the white wire on the harness. High beams still didn't work afterwards.

Curious, what made you flip the pins? Im curious why you had to flip the pins. Moto control is new. You are not receiving any voltage to highbeam harness correct?

Searching other threads of highs not working, there was a post by TRS stating which colors are what, and to make sure they are correct. When I tested mine, I found that when highs were activated, it was putting voltage to the pin with the white wire (which was said to be the ground), so I flipped them.

The high beam harness on the drivers side is getting 12V on both pins, which I don't think is correct. Passenger side is not like that.

That's the plan. Figured I might be able to get a solution, if anyone else had come across a similar issue. The wiring harness is cheap, even if I have to buy another. Think I was more scared that I burnt out the solenoids, cause they tested fine, then when actually wired, they wouldn't work. But they still work via test leads.

The customer support was great to me when I broke an igniter. I literally spent a minute talking to the rep about my issue and I had $5 off
