Does anyone have a bed extender? Is it worth it? I might buy one via the deal that Rick is running. I'm definitely getting a bed mat as well.

 

Just got back from Montreal. 6.5 hours of driving in rain.

 

Real nice...That's how we started and we loved it...actually we miss the pop up

 

Unless you have a specific need for one, I wouldn't waste your money. The best use I've seen for them has been with dirt bikes in the bed, the extender lets you keep other loose stuff in the bed without it sliding out the back.

 

Yeah I don't have anything like that. I have more use for the bed mat

 

A good bed mat is worth it for sure. The bed extender on the other hand... I wouldn't bother unless you have a specific need in mind but that's just my $0.02.

 

I just got the OEM one. As for the bed extender, you're right. I don't hall long things frequently

I have one and I like it so far. Helps make a little "compartment" in the bed to put small things in that you don't want bouncing around when you're driving. But agree with everyone else. It's only worth it if you haul stuff that you'll need the tailgate flipped down for. I plan on doing stuff like that, so to me it's worth it. But it all depends on what you want/need.

Sorry I didn't see this last night. Sorry about your back, what happened? So glad to hear that your wife likes it. I had the feeling that you had some reserves about that! It's a great little camper that should serve you guys well.

Lol, kids loved it, they wanted to hang out in there all afternoon!!! Yeah, I haven't a clue what happened, I was walking across the yard, leaned over to pick something up, and it just gave out. Took me about 30 seconds to right myself back up to my feet again. This happens every couple of years when it's this bad, other times I can sorta feeling it coming and I can avoid stupid movements that trigger it. This time I guess I was too focused on the prize!

 

Take a good look at the brakes while you're in there, clean them out, replace if necessary.
