    Apparently the world we know is the "Known World." I'm willing to bet there is a lot more to the world than this map even. In medieval times, people thought Europe was the whole world.

    This also explains why people can get places so quickly. Show watchers complain about little finger getting to moles town so fast. Its like a couple hundred miles at most. would take a week tops.

    If you get the book of maps for the world of ice and fire it shows a map of the known world that has 2 additional continents on it. Ulthos which is Southeast of Essos and the aptly named southern continent of Sothoryos.

    and it was recently released that Brienne is a descendant of Sir Duncan. Quite the 90 year or so tie in.

    I saw that George recently dropped that little knowledge bomb at Balticon I believe. That is pretty awesome and gives Brienne and great history with little work. I think there was some speculation about Wyllis/Hodor being a decendent of Sir Duncan as well which I really like. Supposedly a future Dunk and Egg novella will have their adventures to Winterfell. I think it would be pretty cool if Dunk gets down with a younger old Nan and ends up being Hodor's papa.

    Yep I thought she was a goner. Maybe she goes to see Jaqen and he helps her? I'm not convinced he really wanted her dead...

    A little disappointed in how short Ian McShane lasted, he had interviewed and said he had a short arc but I didn't know that mean 1 ep. The hound is going to go on a spree next week it looks like. Can't wait
