Whatever you do, dont go with powerstop drilled and slotted rotors with EBC Green pads :/ Warped the rotors in a few thousand miles, and +1 to drilled rotors offroad, they tend to, stop working very well.

I have been running Powerslot slotted rotors and Hawk Pads and have been really happy with them, they work great in every situation and I haven't lost any stopping power when I'm in the back country. The big trick is when you go through the mud or water, just give the brakes a tap before moving onto any other obstacle, I have found it clears them well and gets them ready for the next situation.

I run a lot of high mtn passes and they have lasted quite a while on my truck, I can't remember exactly what mileage I put them on, but they have lasted over 5 years. I'm guessing about 120,000 Km (75,000 miles)

13WG and 13WL are the same size, with the difference being in the brake line angle.

But yeah, both 13WG and 13WL Tundra calipers are intended for 319 mm rotor dia., same as stock on 2nd gen Tacos. Only difference with the Tundra rotor is a deeper hat, which adds more weight but doesn't improve heat dissipation.

I just got some EBC USR slotted rotors with the heavy duty pads for light truck and SUV. Big improvement from stock.

I think these are the ones I just bought. Once I installed these, I did the break in procedure that was instructed in the brake pad box. This combo certainly has a better 'bite' over the stock rotors. I only have 46k miles on my truck, and my factory rotors started pulsing dangerously around 36k miles. So far Im happy with these.

It's interesting how much brake wear varies with driving pattern. At 50k, my factory pads had 5.5-6.0mm remaining, and my factory rotors were at 27.9mm thickness (new is 28.0mm). I get my calipers and rear drums lubricated every two years, so there was no uneven wear. At this rate I could have probably gotten another 50k out of them, but I upgraded to StopTech slotted rotors for improved initial bite.

My daily commute is 32 miles round-trip in LA-style rush-hour highway gridlock, so frequent braking at both high- and low speeds.

+1 here. I did and get really bad brake dust. So GD annoying. Braking power is good, but cleaning is a pain. They are black, but after 1 stop all the black was gone.

Centric premium rotors with OEM pads! Great combo. Use the same set up on my 4Runner as well

    Is this the drivers side?
If it is I think you have them on the wrong side.

Another vote for the Power Stop slotted rotors with ceramic pads. About $150 off Amazon.

Here are the centric premium rotors and OEM pads I just did on my 4runner. Don't mind the packing grease on the rotors. Hadn't cleaned them off yet.

    My StopTech slotted rotors:

    IMG_3925s%2Bstoptech_bd460e1c153c0f89e1e4c9f71ae2ed54f7c8e9b3.jpg

StopTech is the performance brand of Centric.
According to StopTech, the pattern of slots and holes on the outside work in both directions. The cooling vanes inside the rotor determine the preferred direction.

More brake porn. These rotors/calipers are about as big as they can be while still fitting inside a 16" wheel.
