What is the ETA on the wheels, anyways? Are they confirmed to be in production / on the way?

I'm not opposed to prepaying for a set but I tend to shy away from "soon, maybe July" because it has the nasty habit of turning into "soon, maybe August/September/December/Early 2017 definitely/Okay Mid 2017 potentially." Not saying I don't trust SCS in particular but my experiences previously have made me weary. If it's like "we get our next batch on June 20th" then I'm way more confident.

The big difference is that we don't conduct our business like most companies/shops out there. Pre-orders are only taken when a shipment is about 1-2wks away. It cost you nothing to be on the waiting list. As a matter of fact, about 40% of folks who get on our list never follow through which cost us a lot of time, but we don't complain.

I enjoy and love what I do so I make sure to never lead customers on or make promises that I cannot keep. I know how it feels to be on the other end when dealing with companies and I completely understand what you're saying. We're just not "them".

I was in the 40% as well. I ending up getting lucky and picked up a used set of 5 for a price I couldn't pass up.

It's alright fellas:cheers:. One way or another, you'll be back or end up with a slightly used set which I don't mind at all. As long as you're repping SCS in the future, we've done our job.

Hopefully, they upgraded to another set of SCS wheelso_O.

Now out of curiosity, has anyone tried plasti-dip on their exposed hubs?

I'm thinking it might be worth a try, especially since you can just peel off a failed dip job and it's pretty damn durable.

    Why not just use paint?

I'm not opposed to paint, just curious if anyone has used dip. Cost is basically the same, but dip you can be a lot more lazy in your masking work with dip because the overspray lifts and peels off so easily.

    I hate plasti-dip. I'd just paint them

It's a ProComp stage 2. The 285/75-16 are to small for it though. I'm really liking the matte bronze!

June 6th 2016: we were told the end is nigh. A shipment of wheels coming in early June... However the people are getting anxious and there is no definite end in sight... Not sure how much longer we can keep everyone under control... Help us ObiWan Kenobi. You are our only hope
