So Saturday night, my buddy had a emergency at home. Ended calling off running Slickrock this past Sunday. So I'll be down to run it this Saturday the 11th. Will be me and maybe 1 other rig. I'm only 2 hours away, so won't be camping.

Yup, Jay doesn't have lockers and I did it open/open. Took me longer but got through it just fine. I figured if the jeep could do it, so could I.

I may be checking the snow levels around Fordyce/Rattlesnake this weekend (I assume it should be close to clear by now). Need to test out some truck changes, and then beat my stock LCAs to death before they get swapped out next week.

    This was his posting.

    Posted June5

Stock 4x4s are welcome. The Snow is finally melted! At least to the camp sites on the West beach. We might attempt the Snake Lake loop. There was still snow on the hills when I went up there early June. It was about 75 degrees and the water was warm enough for swimming.

Bring fishing gear, mountain bikes, cornhole, whatever you want!

Meeting: 8:00am - Penn Valley Taco/Shell - 16978 Penn Valley Dr, Penn Valley, CA. It's about 2hrs drive NE from there. Cars can park at the boat ramp and get shuttled to the west side camping area

    Sorry, June24-26.

Just putting it out there. I'm not going either, still looking for permanent full time work.

As often as he goes, will be other dates.

I sent him a pm. His post is a private invite.
He's a drinker and a Military bad ass when drunk... FYI. Good guy at heart though. You have a FB account?
