You'll have to let me know how much lift you get out of yours. The coil collar looks screwed down a lot farther than mine.

Definitely! I need to update (start?) my build thread, and I have a crap ton of stuff I want to get done this weekend. The Kings are at the top of the list.

I think the only difference is internal, but mine are the extended travel units. Gonna run the AP UCAs that I scored in the group buy, and do the Tundra brake upgrade while I'm in there!

I can't wait, man! I'm taking Friday off for a three day build and beer weekend!

Hopefully it's not just the 'beer' part...

Did you get the Callahan kit from Amazon for the brakes?

Rode in one. Wow. Fucking terrible. So much God damn road noise and drove bad and handled dirt roads terribly.

I know what that's like, bud. It's slow, true, but it can be done if you want it badly enough. I just bought some seats from a local member the other day. Guy was in high school, and his truck was beautiful. The best part was that he had done nearly all of the work himself.

That's kinda where I'm at right now, it's so much cheaper to do it yourself, and the learning experience... priceless!!

My plan is leaf springs and shocks this summer. Then save and maybe buy ucas this summer and then tires. Then armor. Should be good.

Exactly. For me, it's led to an all-consuming need to learn how to weld!

I apologize for jacking the thread, but I have to say that that pic makes me all kinds of homesick.

You should try to make your own armor, it's so fun and sooooo much cheaper, I built my rear bumper, got a $150 dollars of tubing and only used a 1/3 of it, still have enough for a front bumper and part of a cage.

Yes, I just graduated on Thursday and now that I can work more hours I plan on getting the new 2016 Everlast 160 Sth tig/stick welder such an amazing bang for your buck, and I'll have my own welder when I got to work at a fab shop.

I don't have a tube bender, welder, or any experience really... That's awhile down the road though. So something might come around.

Well surprisingly in my little town of Sonora there are a couple fab shops and I became good friends with one of them and I use his tools and shop space whenever I can, maybe I got lucky but start looking around I'm sure there's someone that will take you in.

I'll keep it in mind for sure. I know there's some shops around but I don't know how friendly they are
