Big update for your guys!!!

Just talked to Cali Raised and if you purchased a 3D, it's getting mailed out over the next 48 hours.

4D guys, he is finalizing a large batch of those and you will be next!

I have about 15 mounts that I will be mailing out by Friday for people that signed up early. They are various styles so no group in particular, just what I had on the shelf. I have also began work on the remaining mounts. Yesterday I ran through 4 sheets of steel cutting out parts. I will begin building mounts tomorrow! My goal is to have these all shipped out ahead of schedule! With only 4 more days left I have an idea of what I need and am over building so I will have an actual inventory coming out of this. Thanks everyone for the huge success of this group buy!!!!



And just for fun, for you 2nd gen guys who get tired of your bed pockets falling out, I have a new solution!!! This is just a preliminary design I whipped up today, but can anyone guess what this is?

 

Great news. I was just thinking that it would be great to have this and have it installed before my annual Father's Day camping trip. I guess I might have a shot at it being number 7 on the list.

 

Electrical Outlet cover?

 

There will be an electrical item attached here. The slots are not intended for venting like an electrical cover would though...

You are half way there!! It does put an LED in the bed pockets. There is also one other function.

No charger. I fear it would get damaged in that location. Good guess!

Ok so a hint. It is for the upper bed pockets that always fall out when on the trail. The top portion is for a flush LED bed light. Now you guys just need to figure out what the slots are for.

@Synergy001 got the LED part, can we guess the other part! It's not electronic related.

 

Mounting point slots for accessories? Bed divider or something?

I'll go ahead and award you the other half here because it is kind of hard to guess.

So the slots are able to utilize Mollie enabled accessories like poaches or mounts for tools. They are also properly distanced to utilize two different sizes of quick fist clamps.

Because there is the LED I don't want mounting for anything too big to block the light. It is also bolted to the composite bed so nothing too heavy. But a Mollie bad to hold straps, or some lighter tools. You can quick fist a flash light or other trail related tools. You can even use them as a tie down point for something light duty.

Also I have had a lot of problems with my LED strips. They always fall off and there are dead spots in the strip. With a hard mounted flush mount LED this will all go away!!!!

@Synergy001 and @bulldog. Since you split the answer I will give you both half off if you want one. I will also do testing so maybe I will send you guys test ones that are bare metal and free of charge! Let's get past this group buy, and I will contact you guys when it's time to make these.

Last challenge. If anyone has a great idea for the panel and I implement it on the final product, I will give you a free one as well!

Ultimately the pocket it's a useless feature and annoyance when the pocket falls out on the trail (every time for me). I really want to make this space have a better use!
