Tc vs. Camburg uca's (still no clear answer)

    I have a 2010 Tacoma with a conservative 3" lift in the front and 2" in the rear. I want to add either a TC or a Camburg set of UCA'S to get my alignment back into spec but I can't decide which is the better product. Some say there is a problem with TC's and binding and others say Camburg has a manufacturing issue. please help. I'm not looking for huge travel or anything just a truck that looks and performs well for light off road and street.

    For your purposes....Either will work fine. As will the Light Racing UCAs (which are a bit cheaper than the other two).

    I don't think you'll find yorself pushing the capabilities of either of these piece of gear....

    I bought TC and so far not disappointed at all. They are quiet as a mouse and stay in alignment thus far. I didn't get camburg because I heard they squeak like hell.

    Planning on wheeling it hard? If not, go with the Light Racing arms. If you do plan on wheeling, how hard, what terrain, and what modifications do you have planned?

    FYI, you'll never see the increased articulation of the Camburg UCAs without the right coilovers and without modifying/eliminating the stock bumpstops.

    LR UCAs is a good budget UCA for fixing alignment and everyday duty... if this is your daily driver and not a dedicated off road truck LR would be a perfect fit for the truck and the wallet

    camburg also has a ball joint uca thats around $400 same price as the lr ucas. They reuse your stock ball joint or you can buy new ones for like another 120 or so. Once everything is done on my truck these are what im planning on using because i dont wheel my truck. just want the alignment. check em out on wheelersoffroad.com

    I use a dry film from PB Blaster. Woorks well. Reminds me, I need to spray them this morning. I have been told to NOT use Wd-40 on them. it could mess up the seals.

    Not necessary depending on the terrain you run. The 1.25" uniball gives more uptravel before binding but you'll hit the bumpstop and/or bottom out the shock before seeing all the travel possible from the UCAs.

    If you're running RaceRunner shocks and Light Racing Jounce Shocks, you'll see some sick numbers and a damn smooth ride. :cool:

    Thanks for all the input, I think I'll go with the TC UCA's because as the truck gets a little older I'm problably going to test its limits more and more. Just thinking ahead!
