Hell I go to Nevada a couple times a year to hunt pheasant and I look forward to that high desert. My friend is building a beautiful home Idaho which is great too.

Pheasant in Nevada? I'm guessing this is a "Preserve" you're hunting on or a pheasant farm where they pen-raise then release the birds for hunts.

I also go do a similar hunt in Corning Calif. on an Indian reservation. We call it the kick the cage club ha ha. Some of the birds flush nicely but some you have to boot them in the ass to get'm up. And if that's not the problem some of the fricken dogs, flush'm, chase'm and catch'm lol

Yeah when it is hot or later in the season the pen raised birds are sluggish and the dogs will rip them out. Not good for hunting dog to learn they can rip out a bird...then you go wild bird hunting and they bump everything they sniff

I will spend at least 30 nights in the back of my truck this fall while we're out chasing wild birds. I live to bird hunt.

You may have problems making this work. The OEM rack does not have many attachment options. I would buy one of the many aftermarket options if I were you.
