    Not enough...
Well. That changes everything! I wont be able to get the dog into the tent, but at least he can sleep in the back off the ground and wont be locked in. Thats perfect.

.... and I just dropped $350 for an REI tent less then a week ago

Thanks for posting that, been meaning to pickup a fan for camping in the South this August. Have a feeling it'll be plenty warm at night

Very awesome, but would be very hard to fab on my end. I wonder if this tent pretty much solves the mounting height issue- anyone run this tent?

Like others, I do not want to mount the RTT above roof level when driving.

Sounds like a good story is about to unfold.

...the story is actually bad and I plan on sharing it tomorrow if it is not resolved by lunch. I believe their staff failed to discuss the issue with management and it went from bad to worse unknown to the headsheds. Since I am understanding and patient I am going to wait to see what they do. If they don't make things right I will give a complete story along with photos. That is one of the great things about Tacoma World, it provides a venue that members can use to critique gear and service.

I worked my way through college at Marmot Mtn Works and was involved with product design, manufacturing, and testing as well as sales and I have seen this type of thing in companies that grow too fast. They forget the things that set them apart.

Just ordered the anti-condensation mat from Tepui. Do we need to bolt this thing down, or just set it in there and let it move freely like the mattress?

    Am I cool now?

Its a smittybilt, not as cool. But Hey, I like it.

Attention to detail in the actual machine parts isnt great, but nothing a file/deburr knife cant fix

The ladder mounts are also different sizes, but I can make new ones no prob.
