Anyone else have a garage full of parts to install but still waiting on the truck to arrive? Waiting on a DCLB OR with a build date of 6 Feb. Already have the temp VIN and hope to see it by the end of the month.

In the garage now I have:

    Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/70/17
TRD Pro 4Runner wheels Matte Black
    All weather tub mats
UWS Low Pro Toolbox (had one on my first gen)

    Enroute in the mail:

    OEM Roof Rack
CBI Bolt on sliders (had some on first gen)

    Considering :

    Bed mat
Bilstein 5100s (had them on my first gen)

Additional tools, recovery gear and stuff I already have will migrate from the first gen.

Anyone else have a garage full of stuff and no truck yet?

Other than the sliders and mats, everything would migrate to a 2nd Gen if I end up with the world's worst 3rd gen, shit-canned the deal and bought a 2015 instead. Either way a new taco will be in the driveway by April.

Sliders and mats would hit Craigslist or the classifieds here as NIB.

    Not worried at all.

My online Amazon, toytec and dirty south carts are full but waiting until I have the keys to push the checkout buttons! I may have a bad attitude about dealers but I just know the dealer is gonna try to change something and F@$! Me real good haha. I have a problem of flipping over tables and walking out....:bananadead:

Yep, other than mounting the tires after moving the TPMS sensors over, I can install the other "dealer accessories" myself.

I just didn't want to add any more wait time due to parts after the truck gets here to have it as I wanted it. I'm ALREADY waiting as it is, why NOT pull the trigger on parts now and have the wait time run concurrent.

I did the same thing man. My man cave looks like a small aftermarket parts store. Good call. Sounds like I'm only 10 or so days out from getting rid of all these boxes.

Wife: "WTF, you're buying a brand new truck and you're already buying parts to replace brand new parts that aren't even worn and here yet".

She might be dumb but she's mine and I love her.....

I had the same problem until today. Rolled out this morning at 9 to the garage and just got back with everything installed. Truck looks even better than the photos in the forums.

Yep, it takes restraint to keep from buying more stuff but when done it's really nice to have it all together to enjoy.

Congrats! Good price on the oem roof rack. Is that dealer price? I haven't asked my dealer for a quote yet. Best price I've found is ebay.

Toyota NA research shows, Tacoma owners spent $10k on accessories AFTER buying the truck.

    I am below that :)

You can reuse the TPMS sensors from the OR wheels to the TRD wheels, they'll swap right over.

That's what I did and I've had no problems with pressure readings on demand or erroneous light indications.

Bought the truck a week before leaving for a patrol and only drove it maybe 400 miles. While on deployment I've ordered LED headlights/fog lights, bed extender, bedrug, 1.25" wheel spacers, firestone ride-rite kit, firestone air-rite kit, TACOMA tailgate reflective decal kit, TACOMA dash decal kit, TACOMA lower door decal kit, Iron Cross HD steps and a spacer lift for the front. Next patrol I plan on ordering tires and the patrol after i'll get the ARE shell that I want.
