Has anyone had to remove the cam bolts and bushings on their LCA's to grease them? I have a really bad creaking sound coming from them. I read on tw somewhere that Toyota doesn't grease them during assembly. Also read that it's better to use anti seize rather that grease.

Well just bust into smaller groups and space 10-15 min apart. No big.

Anti-seize the bolt. Grease the bushings. Anti-seize is a good lubricant for threads and to prevent galling and corrosion. But its not really good for situations where a roller surface or bearing surface are. So just anti-seize the actual bolt and use appropriate lube on the bushing and outside of the pin thingy. Thats my opinion at least.

Just sent the deposit for my Brute Force rear bumper! Billy had the parts in stock to build it, so I should have it in about 6 weeks! Can't wait!
Single swing out, single jerry can ( for extra water),HD latch, LED pods.

Now to start design for my aux fuel tank to go in the spare tire well. Think I can get an extra 10 or 12 gal and still keep it up out of harms way.

Being a complete lazy ass, I just Tri flow the crap out of mine and they stop squeaking for about 4 months. I use the spray, cuz it seems to penetrate better.

Love that bumper, I was so close to getting one but he wasn't taking orders at the time. Did you get the side kick up bars?

Also can't wait to see how this aux tank goes, been considering something along those lines as well.

No side bars, and sorry Brian, not HC. After much thought, and some very scientific measuring using a precisely calibrated 2x4, I decided that the extra 2" of clearance I would get wasn't worth it (#longbedproblems), as I'm not going to rock crawl or anything. Basically, it is a capable camping truck and that's all. On the upside, I'll gain almost 4" more approach angle than stock. ( 8-10 degrees on my extremely precise $2 plastic protractor)
The main reason I'm getting it is that when Bob and I went to Evans creek, in the deep ruts, I discovered that if I got a flat, I wouldn't be able to get the spare out from under the truck! Oh yeas, and... Chicks dig it.

On the gas tank, I'll let you know when the design is finalized. Going to use a bronco in tank fuel pump as a transfer pump. Should take about 20 min to send 10 gal thru 2 manual petcock valves. Just have to figure out the best fill location.

What he was trying to say is that the extreme angle will cause the CV boot fins to rub and you will wear through them fast.
@Smar969905 was spot-on with explaining the coils. Things do settle over time (not overnight), but an 886 really wants plate bumper + winch.
Decide now if you want a winch soon, or if you want your lift to not be capable of carrying a winch.

well ill be ARB has a 36 month warranty on the coils, so they will swap them out if it doesn't settle so ill just ride it for a month and see it if don't settle some more. but can you guys see if my cv is ok? I mean they ride okay. but im not too mechanically incline either so I don't know much.20160606_103154.jpg 20160606_103211.jpg

For the 1st Gen Tacoma awesomeness, one can use a Ford (yes, I typed it) F150 tank as it fits between the frame rails near perfect, filling loc is the next challenge...
