I've seen plenty of guys run 35's on OME suspension just fine.

You don't think 35s with an OEM front bumper is doable? I know anything is possible. However, why do you think not?

I mean anything is really "doable". But I wouldn't recommend, just cause you would be rubbing pretty bad on OEM bumper I think with the 35s, actually I don't think, I know. But there's always plastic and metal to lop off! You can always cut the shit out of an OEM bumper until you get a steel/aluminum one.
But especially if you want to take it wheeling, I would be wrong to say that the OEM front / 35" tires wouldn't be a headache.

Worth the headache? With how much time its taking to get my OME kit from the group buy, I'm already looking at a month out from being lifted and on 33s, would the hack job push me back a lot further & consequentially lose more summer trail time? Or is it all stuff that me and some friends(that are better equipped welder/cutters) than me could knock out in a weekend?

You can PM me if this is too much BS for the trading post

I'm not trying to persuade you one way or the other.. I love my 35s and the improvement in performance with 35s that have close to full clearance is amazing. Had plenty of fun wheeling with 3" and 33s but 35s just make that grin that much wider! I started laughing the first time I hit a trail on 35s. They are badass, pissed I couldn't try them out in Moab this year.

Damn Gramps is gonna have to bump the ad again!

I did awhile back for the card, but you said you were waiting on somebody for a cash exchange. I have paypal as well. On a sad note, it seems pelfrey put their rear bumpers with swingout on hold. However, I am still interested in the card.

You and well equipped friends could knock this out in a weekend. It's really about how much you want to cut and beat with a hammer. I will ask you this though, with the OME kit are you getting an aftermarket UCA with the kit? Without a good UCA to help with alignment you might have to beat the back fender a bit more and you will have to do a CMC (Cab Mount Chop).

I dont mind cutting and beating. Right from the start, no, I will not be doing the initial install with UCAs. They're right there with a bumper and RTT as my next purchase(s). I was going to see what kinda alignment I could get without them, but that was also when I was planning on 33s.. RockyMtnTRD explained that i'd have to hammer the pinch weld, do the CMC, and bend/cut my fenders/wells. I'd honestly prob run without my front bumper until I get my hands on a Pelfreybuilt hybrid.

I have a coworker buying some old Dunflops from me tomorrow then I should be equipped to make this snag..

Don't forget about gearing. Am I wrong to say that 4.56 gears are ideal for 35s?

I'll post a pic of 35s on Foxs (at factory setting) with the stock front bumper this week... And if it's not god awful to drive on the street I'll drive it to the Expo-thing on Sunday.
