I have it in my truck right now as a portable compressor. I didn't hardwire it. I think if I were to do it again I would buy a higher model but it does the job just not as fast. It does the job, I haven't used it for much other than to fill up tires. I need to find a bag for it though, I also bought the 10ft extension.

Good to know, thanks. Did you need to buy the 10ft extension to air up all your tires? Did the battery clamps fit well?

I had a similar one the Q IndustriesMV50 and it worked pretty well, it was slow to fill the tires though, bought it 4 years ago and it still works pretty good.
If you go on board air I had the middle of the line ARB, it worked well for the locker and also filled the tires pretty quick, it was around $225 at the time.

I did buy the extended line so I could hit all four tires, the spare was a lost cause as I need that nozzle (long adapter seen in the link below)
    https://www.amazon.com/EPAuto-Indus...=1465384345&sr=8-3&keywords=compressor+nozzle

It does fill the tires slowly, but it does the job for now. I needed to get one because my tenant borrowed the last two cheapo air pumps I bought and broke them. This one stays in the truck, I bought a cheap tool bag for it to keep everything together off Amazon. I don't plan on running anything crazy like a locker either though.
The clamps grab pretty decently, I only used it about 4 times and twice was to inflate massive blow up floats for a pool party. You can always go to radio shack or amazon and order larger clamps and swap them over.

I can take photos of it later if you want, I need to pull the plastics out of the rear this weekend and dyno mat the rear of the cab anyways so everything is being removed. Finally installing my MOLLE Equipment Panel.

On a side note - just realized I have a road-force tire balancer at work :D

Never done this job before, but if it's just moral support and encouragement you want, you can join Rick and me on the 25th when I help him wire up his bed lights.

Drop the spare and flip it over so you can access the valve stem whenever needed

Well as you can tell - when it comes to trucks I know nothing. I didn't even know this was possible!
I'll try that tonight (if I can even drop it, 114k and I don't think it was ever removed before by the previous owner)

Starting to Notice a slight hesitation in the automatic transmission when I go from a stop and lightly press on the gas, feels like slop almost. Maybe I'm just being picky though since I'm used to manual race clutches which are on or off.

I really hate craigslist. You would think people selling stuff wouldn't take 3 days just to get you the vin number on a truck .

I have had a rash of bad CL encounters lately, I'm offloading a bunch of my old spares for my WRX and people just suck at reading. I've stopped responding to sellers who fail to read the post now. In addition I drove all the way out to springfield before I left on my trip to buy some tires and the guy told me when I got to his front door that he sold them locally a week earlier...

x2 if/when the time comes, if I can make it, I'd like to help out. I've never done an engine sway and wouldn't mind being a bystander / helper. I'm at least fairly mechanically inclined so I can help, just never been through the process before.

Thanks guys . I'd have to collect a bunch of parts first. It won't be happening anytime soon.
That Tacoma has a bad frame so I was thinking I could get him to come down on the price.
