Alright thanks, I guess I overlooked recovery gear since I'm almost always with a group. And yeah I can't count how many times zip ties have saved my ass mountain biking in the middle of nowhere so i'll definitely have a bunch on hand.

Sounds awesome. Here's some of the basics: lots of tools,compressor, full size spare tire, first aid,and recovery gear. Make sure you air down in the rough stuff.​

 

Bring wrenches.

And a satellite phone if you're gonna be solo.

And tell people where to find you and when to start looking.

And as many spare parts as possible.

 

Was driving home from the store tonight and saw a brand new 2016 TRD OR just up the street from my place. Stopped to admire it for a minute from inside my truck, then as I started on the gas pedal to drive off my exhaust set off it's alarm I drove off in a hurry like I was guilty of something but wtf? It ain't that loud, lol

A few weeks ago a Harley driving through the neighborhood set off mine so maybe it was a weird 'pass it on' thing.

 

I baby it so hard in parking garages. Just barely on it and the whole place rumbles,

 

Was stopped at a light on the 210 offramp in Altadena on my way to work this morning, I see a sweet looking lifted 1st gen rolling up next to me and low and behold, it's @danthaman! haha, small world

 

Haha I saw you on the freeway before we stopped and I immediately knew it was your truck. Literally the cleanest red 1st gen in SoCal!

So my gramps and I visited the toyota museum today...and unfortunately now @eon_blue 's truck is the second cleanest 1st gen ever haha. It was a pretty cool place and they had one of each toyota ever sold in the US!
