Aside from the suspension, Sara has made it very clear that everything else for the truck must be from my own earnings. I've been playing poker for 8 yrs. Finally not wasting if on garbage. Miss you, home slice!

I do not understand this. Why are you reiterating the first post? Do people need a safe zone for ball busting on tacoma world as well? You PM'd me that the kid quoting the *blue* in my handle goblue82 is a "privileged kid that's actually socially responsible." Sir, that's like saying he's socially liberal but fiscally conservative.

I'm a Navy sailor, I'll talk shit, I'll take a black eye for friends, but no, I will not shy away from comments, political comments, from children. Privileged children.

Sooooooooooooooooo, just ask'n a general question here, I don't want any rocks thrown at me, what can we talk about on here then??? I was just about to point out the same "1st post" of this thread??? :crapstorm::notsure: I mean, let me put it another way, I spew lots of details about CB's and radios and all, but that is almost no different than talking about other subjects. Poor @Threetwozero Chris had the unfortunate chance of me talking to him about radio systems at the beach meet, LOL!!! I didn't even get to the finer "details" of it either, ROFL!!! I was still talking about radio systems up until I had to leave that day, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl: I guess that all I am saying is that I am more than willing to help someone who has a question or obviously has problems. I even proved this at the AB trip. If I was able to do it then I helped out that person! Again, just say'n. :notsure:

Soooooooo, on a lighter note, WhenT.H. are we gonna have AHH NATHUR BEACH MEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????????? I keep asking this damn question and only get likes???!!! I mean, summer isn't THAT long to plan ahead people, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl:

My situation dictates that I usually have a hard time for these meets! I'm just saying to have one. If I can make it then I can make it. You know "my" particular situation (my mom), which is why I had to leave "early" and have posted numerous times on the thread even before the meet. Either way, I must say Greg that I had a good time.

If you finally ever decide to get a new scanner, like you were saying that day, again, get a trunking scanner that has narrowband capability, which, I would imagine, most do nowadays, I would think and hope?! Like I was telling you, aLOT of agencies are narrowbanding nowadays. Trunking scanners are pretty damn expensive though. Also, your scanner that you have might actually still be useful meaning that the agency that you were listening to changed the frequency. That started happening a number of years ago where agencies were going to abandon their old system and goto an 800MHz system. Supposedly they're still converting over, LOL!!! Nice to be on the gubment payroll, huh!!! LOL!!! THIS could be your situation that you are experiencing??? I would have to know what agency and what scanner you have to maybe be able to help you get back on track to listening? MOST Police agencies, typically are on an encrypted type of radio system that I am aware of nowadays and for good reason.

Anyways, I myself eventually plan on getting a trunking scanner (Handheld) when money starts flowing again. Damn things are about $400 for the "low end" models, LMAO!!! It is either a trunking scanner or a CB that has SSB capability and it will most likely be the CB???!!! Some people focus on LT suspension, engine, differential gearing, SAS, tires, etc... I focus on radios, LOL!!!

I wouldnt worry about it ron, that incident was only 1 or 2 people specifically. No ones being hurt here, just discussing a hobbie. If I remember right the mods didnt delete anything however the OP of this thread was ammended in regards to that situation

Okay, couldn't sleep, LMAO!!! From the looks of it in at least one of my books, the middle two are probably, most likely, 180gr .308 and as far as the one on the left, it looks like it would be a .308 as well, but right around 220gr. The one on the far right, has to be a .308 as well and probably right around a 165gr bullet.

I've never shot anything that looks like the one on the far left, but have seen similar designs, regardless.

Finally, I just stick to the "basics" and reload what I've fired. I'm not into "HOT loads" or damn near "compressed" powder loads. I usually stick to "safe" and/or just above that, but definitely under the "HOT". I like my eyesight and hands to stay intact, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl:

Below is an example of a .308 round I did a while back reusing the brass from a PTR91 rifle. You can see the telltale ding and fluting of the brass, LOL!!! That rifle just CHEWS on the brass like a mad granny with steel false teeth, LMAO!!!

When the brass is re-fired through a "normal" 308 rifle, LOL, it should "re-shape" it due to pressures!!! This round, of course, is missing the large rifle primer. I made "dummy rounds" so that I had something to "cycle" with to TEST the bolt action of my 308.

    PTR91_ding_and_flutes.jpg caselength_p1.jpg caselength_p2.jpg

Okay, I'm done with my quota for the gun talk!!! :D:infantry:
